Every single Friday we feature a new author in the spotlight for our ever-popular Featured Friday! segment.

All you need to do to get involved is to download the Author Interview form above and send it to

To make our admin easier, please include “Featured Friday” in the subject line.

Slots are allocated as the next available Friday but we will accommodate requests for specific dates where we can.

We’re also happy to publish guest posts on any subject within the genre, or about the writing process itself.

If you’ve got an idea for something, but are unsure whether we’ll like it, please get in touch. We want to help!

Press Releases

We’re happy to be contacted regarding new releases, events, awards, book signings, competitions, you name it. Our aim is to get your news out to the world.

Whether you’re an independent author, a publisher, an agent, an award ceremony representative or just desperate to get some news out there, we are always open to hear the latest news from you.

Just drop an email to , with the words “PRESS RELEASE” in the subject line, with all the details you’d like us to feature.

Remember, the more information you can give us, the more easily and quickly we can get your information up on the site. So remember to include as much relevant information as you can, as well as pictures and a preferred announcement date where either is appropriate.

Out This Week Listing

If you have an upcoming release date then let us know and we’ll get your book included on our “Out This Week” announcement that goes out every Monday!

All you need to do is let us know about it. Seriously, that’s it.

It would be helpful to us if you could also include the book blurb, a cover image and a link to wherever you’re selling it.

Drop the details to .

If you want a bigger feature around the release, then check the above, we can accommodate guest posts, articles and anything else you fancy to build some momentum coming up to your launch. But the first thing to do is to get it listed!

We are currently closed for review submissions of eBooks

We are still happy to receive print copies. Please contact for postal address.

Unfortunately we are not able read submissions all day, every day (if only) and therefore we cannot guarantee to review everything that we are sent. It will go on the list to be read, which is ever growing, but our limited reading time is split between submissions and other books that take our fancy. As a result, there is also no promise of a quick turnaround time!

If you want to help us reduce that pile and get some free reading material into the bargain we’re always on the lookout for more reviewers, check out our Join The Team page!

We don’t automatically cross-post reviews elsewhere. We understand that it’s helpful for authors to get reviews on Goodreads, Amazon, their own website etc. but this is time consuming and takes away from reading time. Feel free to quote our reviews anywhere you like!

We only review Speculative fiction (Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, Supernatural, etc.). If you’re not quite sure if your book qualifies, then feel free to submit, we don’t mind pushing the traditional boundaries of the genres. However, if you know you’ve written a teen romance, a self-help book, or even a cookery book (yes, we’ve had these requests) then it’s just a waste of everyone’s time.

Review copies need to be sent to in any relevant eBook format. If you’d rather send a hard copy, we don’t object to this, but please drop us an email for more details.

Please note that you will not receive a reply to your submission for review. The review copies are scraped from the inbox and then added to our TBR pile.
