Now We Are Six Hundred
I went into a box and it wasn’t a box.
I asked the box to go wandering.
We could go to planets
We could visit stars
Or Tuesday.
That box could go anywhere at all.
And so we did.
A fairly unusual announcement for you today. The BBC have

by Pete Richmond
announced the release of a book of Doctor Who poetry.
Yes, you read that right.
Written by James Goss, who has himself authored several of the Doctor Who novels published by BBC books, the collection of poems will be illustrated by none other than Russell T Davis.
More famous for his screen-writing and producing of the TV show, it turns out that Russell has been dying for an opportunity like this!
Russell says of the book: “I’ve been drawing for Doctor Who long before I was writing it, so it was like time-travel for me, voyaging back to that young scribbler who used to cover his school desk with Daleks!’
I must admit to be curious rather than excited by this latest addition to the Whoniverse but I’ll reserve judgement until the book is releases, which is the 14th of September just in time for World Poetry day!
