Newman is the New Man at StokerCon

The team at StokerCon have recently announced that Kim Newman, author of the Anno Dracula series, is to join the convention line up as the 2020 Author Guest of Honour.

His Anno Dracula series is set in an alternate (to Stoker’s reality) history where the original protagonists were not able to prevent Dracula’s conquest of Great Britain. His work encompasses writing under the pseudonym “Jack Yeovil” in the Warhammer and Dark Future settings, as well as work as a critic and TV writer.

The StokerCon team have released the following bio for their esteemed guest:

Kim Newman is a movie critic, author and broadcaster. 

He is a contributing editor to Sight & Sound and Empire magazines. 

His books about film include Nightmare Movies, Millennium MoviesKim Newman’s Video Dungeon and BFI Classics studies of Cat PeopleDoctor Who and Quatermass and the Pit
