DisCon in DC

WorldCon is all set to return to Washington DC with the successful, unopposed bid to host WorldCon 2021.

DisCon III, as it will be known, will as the name suggests be the third time that the event has been held in Washington DC, with events I and II taking place back in 1963 and 1974 respectively.

DisCon III, the 79th World Science Fiction Convention, will be held at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington DC, August 25-29, 2021.

Already announced Guests of Honour include Nancy Kress, Malka Older, Sherée Renee Thomas, Toni Weisskopf, and Ben Yalow.

There will undoubtedly be much more news to follow as the event organisation can now kick off in earnest!
