Sanderson among BooktubeSFF Award Winners
BooktubeSFF is the segment of YouTube dedicated to booklovers who use the platform to discuss and share their love of reading Science Fiction and Fantasy.
The awards started in 2015 and according to the organisers the goals of running them are:
1) To provide another avenue for the BooktubeSFF community to share, read, and discuss our favourite works published in the previous calendar year.
2) To celebrate the works the BooktubeSFF community loves.
The awards are administered by Elizabeth from “booksandpieces“, who manages the voting, shortlisting, webpages and other technical bits. They are judged by popular vote and by a panel of judges.
Nominees were chosen from 281 reader ballots, with winners voted on separately by readers and judges. For categories with differing results, both selections were named as winners. A quirk of this process is that in several categories two out of the three nominated books were declared winners.
