Nebula – Games Writing

There are rumours going around the web of a new award category for the Nebulas next year, that of a Nebula Award for Game Writing. I haven’t, as yet, seen any confirmation of this from the SFWA themselves but if so this is a fantastic step forward for the SFF literature to embrace new formats.

Shirley Jackson Award Nominees Announced

The Shirley Jackson Awards, to recognise outstanding achievement in the literature of psychological suspense, horror, and the dark fantastic, have announced their nominees for the 2016 awards.   Founded in 2007, the awards are named in honour of Shirley Jackson, the author of numerous works such as The Haunting of Hill House and We Have Always Lived in the Castle.

Arthur C Clarke Award Shortlist

The highly prestigious Arthur C. Clarke award has just announced the shortlist for the 2017 award. Founded in 1987, for the quality of previous winners there is no need to look further than the inaugural winner.
