The BBC have announced the return of the cult classic The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy to Radio 4. To mark the 40th anniversary of Hitchhiker’s first being heard over the airwaves, the original cast are reuniting for a series to be known as “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy: Hexagonal Phase”.

One of the newer SFF magazines on the scene, Apex magazine has announced that they are launching a print version in the earlier part of next year. Their plans are for the issues to be print on demand only, and will range from $6 – $8 depending on the size of the issue.

The Sputnik Award has announced the winner of the 2015/16 to, well, near-deafening silence. Another reaction to the “infiltration” of the Hugo Awards nomination process, the Sputnik Awards were founded by Jo Lindsay Walton and announced in a guest editorial in Interzone back in July last year.
